anyway I bought Star Wars: the force unleashed on PS2 today, because I can't afford to buy a PS3 or Xbox360 =/

I would say that it's the best game to ever come out on PS2!

I've tried the new GTA once and I don't think it's as funny as San Andreas but it's very cool though!


anyway, right now I am playing Star Wars: the force unleashed and I must say that the game serves the purpose of deepening Darth Vader's character, and it's kind of doing a good job,
you get the almighty evil dark side Vader and hints of his good side too, and it's pretty good.

I don't like the main character though, he's not cool.

I mean some are good like LOTR: the return of the king but others are just crap like that first hulk game that came with the movie and it was lame n shit.

I mean I haven't bought a movie based video game in ages. that is, video games that are following the movies and are released with them, if any movie related games, I usually buy like sort of spin offs like star wars: the force unleashed or jedi outcast which ttly are not video game versions of the movies.

Mortal Kombat VS. DC Universe

Considering it's rated "teen", I was wondering about the fatalities. Are they lame? How can you water down a Mortal Kombat title!?

Actually, many of the fatalities are just as brutal and violent as earlier titles. For example, Lex Luthor twists the opponent's torso around and Green Lantern crumples his enemy into a tiny ball with his energy ring (or whatever you call it). The blood is minimal, but it's refreshing after the other 3D games, where twenty gallons would squirt out every second.

Some are downright terrible and don't look fatal (or even that painful) at all. One of Kano's in particular is groan-inducingly unimaginative.

The games I currently would like to get are Tomb Raider: Underworld, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Lord of the Rings: Conquest, Grid, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows... and possibly others, but I can't think of them at the moment. lol

So if anybody has any of these games, I would like your input...thank you in advance!

And of course, Lord of the Rings: Conquest isn't released until Jan. 13th...

There is also another Uncharted game that will be coming out called Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. I've seen a preview for this game and it looks totally awesome!! It's being released in Fall of 2009.

Where'd you download it? The only version I have is from the PSN and it came with all the characters. The only extra character I know of is when you highlight Guile on the character select screen, you can press up and find the hidden way to select Akuma.

This game is almost addictive as World Warcraft. Phew.

The most annoying and difficult levels so far would be the Wardogs' boss Ramirez, the Swat Team, The Cerberus, The Smileys relentless beat em up while running, and of course the fucking cops in the chapter of Trained to Kill. Yes, those levels were fucking addictive as hell.

I even get frustrated at the levels also of infiltrating the asylum with too many Smileys transvestites smelling your shit pants. :P

Rock Band 2. I can do guitar and bass on Expert (Been playing Guitar Hero since the first one), and can sing some songs on Expert, but mostly stick to Hard. I'm starting to get pretty good at drums, though. A month ago I was beating Medium, now I can five-star Chop Suey on Expert.

Anyone for a freestyle basketball online? Sure it may be lagging, but most of the time on my server, it runs almost smoothly. I'm gonna be a power forward soon. The annoyances are the blockers hitting the ball that almost felt like a volleyball sport as well. :P

Yeah it's called the "Lost Levels" basically, you have 3 lives and thats it, you have to finish it on 3 lives, no continues etc etc, It's insane!!

I've never finished it, if you have a wii you can pick it up on the virtual console.

Don't you just find it frustrating to lose everytime you try your best to hit an ace with the ball back and forth? And I noticed that when the ball is headed your way, it has that Matrix-ish slow-mo just to hit it like some kind of power up to beat the opponents. Annoying, isn't it? Still, it's gameplay is good... But the only irritating is the losses... Now I know how Serena Williams feels about that. :p

I just downloaded it from some torrent that has an emulator direct-PC console. I extracted it then you load the game from the file list... At first the controls are a bit confusing but I finally saw some option configs to sort it out.. It was more addicting than spending your money on tokens just to play these.

I started this last year but didn't get to continue ti, I just started it again and holy-mother-fuck is it a creepy game, I try to play it late at night in the dark, it makes you jump constantly, freaky crack heads jumping out from around corners swinging metal pipes at your head, examining mutilated corpses in strange abandoned places. It's pretty cool!!! I'm almost finished I think, cool story and a cool game thus far!

First Condemned was awesome. Second one is even better (but fair warning: It is darker.

Day of the Zombie - Very similar to Land of the Dead Road to Fiddler's Green. Even though the story cutscenes are comic book style. They even use the same models and graphics as the 2005 version of it. Best played late at night with few lights on. :O

X-Men vs. Street Fighter. My fave team up is often Sabretooth and Magneto. Of all the characters, Wolverine has the easiest fatalities to master even on PC keyboard!!!!

I really enjoyed that it was a lot longer than Portal too. It's the first game I've bought in a long time that I was giddy to play when I got home.

I had the moment at the end, which I'm sure everyone had, when you saw the moon and you were like "No....no way...fuck it, let's try it.", when you had to put the portal up there.

The ending credits song wasn't as good as Still Alive, but oh well.

I also enjoyed PotatOS.

We got ours for Wii Fit. I used it quite a little bit at first, but it got old after a while. :P Plus, I didn't feel like it was THAT great of a work out.

Before Manhut2 was out on Wii, They took Manhut off the shelves years before. I was one of the lucky ones to get a copy in the short time before they took it off the shelf.
They also wanted to ban Fallout 3 for "Drug Use".
